Biography

The highs and lows of professional motocross are only all to familiar to Brian Bogers. The former European 85cc champ (2010) skipped the 125cc class and proved he was right about it with an overall 4th and 9th in EMX250 before claiming the runner-up title in 2014.

Strong MX2 results from 2015 to 2018 earned him a reputation as one of the fastest privateer riders of the championship. The likable Dutchman also scored two overall podiums as a member of the Dutch MX of nations team in 2016 and 2017.

While Brian’s MXGP career got off to a dramatic injury-marred start with HRC Honda he established himself as a solid top-10 rider from 2020 onward. Even more, John Van Den Berk’s son in law went on to prove doubters wrong.  After top-5 motos on KTM and GasGas machinery Bogers shocked the establishment with an overall GP win at Lommel in 2022.

Never at ease with his bike in 2023 he was not capable of replicating the excellent 6th overall he produced in his penultimate season with the Standing Construct race team. For 2024 Brian wants to rebuild with Fantic Factory Racing MXGP. There’s probably no place better to do that than with the help of coach Kevin Strijbos and team mate Glenn Coldenhoff in his camp.
