Rising enduro star Erik Willems (23). Willems, reigning French Junior E2 champion, made a successful transition to enduro two years ago. For 2021, the Husqvarna BeLux rider wants to continue his progress in the FIM Junior Enduro World Championship.

Although Erik started out making a name for himself in motocross – where he recorded two EMX300 podiums and an overall bronze medal in the 2018 EMX300 championship – discovering enduro opened up a whole new world for him.

For his very first participation in the ISDE in 2019, the spectacular Belgian driver achieved an impressive 6th place in the junior category while finishing 10th in E2 and 23rd in scratch. He was also the author of a double French success last year, when he won the French junior championships overall and in J2. Promising results in the junior enduro world championship complete a picture that is promising to say the least.
